Hompy Dream Wiz How-To
How to use Hompy DreamWiz to create a room.

The Hompy DreamWiz is a cool fun program, it's in Korean, and I figured out how to use it to make rooms, even though I couldn't figure out how to read the site.

It's an awesome little maker, I wish I could read Korean.

Anyway, here's the how-to for English-speaking.

  1. Go to the site at http://hshop.dreamwiz.com/BIN/mall/mr_mng.cgi/.

  2. I can't remember if I had to install an active x component or not for this one to work, but if you get asked to do that, well, it's your computer, so it's up to you. *smile*

  3. You'll see like a blank blue room with a little girl doll in it.
  4. Down below that you will see some objects, and a little number selector of 1 through 10.
  5. If you click on an object it will appear in the room. If you click on one of the little number selectors, you will see a new set of objects you can choose from. Notice the tabs. If you click on a tab, you will get a new set of objects, and a new set of little number selectors. Click on each thingee to see a new set of objects. Clicking on an object makes it appear in the room. Click and drag an object around the room to put it where ever you want in the room.
  6. There's wallpaper, floors, pre-made rooms, furniture, pets and all types of things you can use to assemble your room. If you want to delete an object, right click it and then click on the last option in the pop-up menu.
  7. You can also rotate an object so it faces the other direction, like if you want to move it to a different wall or something. To do that, right click on the object, then choose the first selection on the pop-up menu.
  8. Once you get your room assembled, press the print screen key on your keyboard, paste it to your graphics software like Paint or Paint Shop Pro, crop it, and save it just like you would a cartoon doll.
Have fun.

PS - I can't figure out any way to get rid of the little girl doll, so you are kinda stuck with having her in the room. Sorry. But, you can rotate her around to face different directions and stuff.

Oh... uhmm... all of that stuff belongs to the copyright of the people at hompy.com. I wish they would make an english site, but anyway, major props to them for a rawkin' kewl site.
